Big 5 expressed its intention to participate in the digital syringe-based smart system construction project. Due to the lack of core technology, analog syringes, which have been in use for over a century and are limited to human operation and require frequent replacement, have been used for various medical procedures (excluding disposable intramuscular injections). The Anyfusion cylinder pump, the first product to transition to a cylinder cartridge-based medical practice, is a next-generation core technology that promises to revolutionize the burden of workload and human error. It is the most widely used medical device in hospitals (approximately 3,000 units at Seoul National University Hospital, approximately 4,000 units at Yonsei Severance Hospital in Sinchon, and approximately 5,000 units at Asan Medical Center). Korea is the only country in the world where electronic medical records (EMRs) are 100% widespread, ingrained, and culturally embedded. Korea boasts world-class IT technology and infrastructure, and the convenience of smartphones, restaurants, and kiosks in many stores has led to rapid adoption of new smart systems. However, most countries are still in their infancy in the healthcare sector due to safety concerns. Korea, with its world-leading IT capabilities, is a prime location for global tech and AI companies. Leveraging the domestic environment where smart systems are ingrained and cultural, we aim to pioneer the smartization of pharmaceutical infusion pumps by installing an EMR on the Anyfusion cylinder pump, the only smart system capable of achieving reliable real-time accuracy. This will rapidly shift the market paradigm to Anyfusion. The Big 5 hospitals and numerous other hospitals, resonating with our vision, have agreed to participate in the Anyfusion cylinder pump EMR system construction project. The da Vinci, a world-renowned robotic surgical system, has established a center at Yonsei University Severance Hospital in Sinchon, where EMR is widely used. Benchmarking the model, which has grown into a world-class product based on diverse references, we are establishing Anyfusion smart system centers in various departments at the Big 5 hospitals. Based on this reference, we aim to expand the Anyfusion system to all hospitals in Korea and lead the global market paradigm. The Anyfusion Smart System Project involves registering (purchasing) equipment and therapeutic materials (cartridges) with hospitals in advance for use for 2-3 years. It also involves jointly developing methods and technologies suitable for each hospital's EMR and system. Various references are being provided to all hospitals in Korea, elevating the level of medical care, environment, and culture. Thank you. |
