Selected for 2025 Korea Health Industry Development Institute suitability assessment support project for use of domestically produced medical devices In the 2025 Korea Health Industry Development Institute's domestic medical device use suitability evaluation support project, the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yonsei University Wonju Christian Severance Hospital was selected as a support provider for the Sincheon face-to-face evaluation results in the case of "Improving the performance of cylinder-type drug infusion pumps and securing global competitiveness based on the evaluation of suitability for use in a high-pressure oxygen (chamber) environment." As the airborne coronavirus spreads rapidly through the respiratory tract, treatment in hyperbaric oxygen chambers has become active due to the pandemic, and in developed countries, it is being used to treat the following diseases. In Korea, there are no approvals for indications for pharmaceutical infusion pumps for treatment within a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. With the publication of a thesis verifying the usefulness of the Anyfusion cylinder pump through this usability evaluation project, the scope of use will be expanded by adding the only indication for a pharmaceutical infusion pump in a high-pressure oxygen chamber for the treatment of the following diseases for the first time in Korea. We plan to expand the market with pharmaceutical infusion pumps for global hyperbaric oxygen chambers. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of the Emergency Medicine Department at Yonsei University Wonju Christian Severance Hospital who did their best for this project. Thank you. |
